F A B I O F E R R A N T E - D E S I G N E R
Fabio Ferrante started moving his first steps into the Design World in 2003, in Torino (Italy), where he begun to work as Product Designer at Light SAS.
But it’s in 2005 when he really start his professional career: at the FCA Design Research Center under the mentorship of Pietro Camardella, father of the most iconic Ferrari models of the '80s and' 90s such as the F40, the 456 GT and the 512 TR.
During this first experience he designs the interiors of the Sportiva Latina, awarded as "Best Innovation-Concept Car" at the Barcelona Motor Show in 2005.
In 2009 as car designer, he has already worked for projects with brands such as FCA Group, Alfa Romeo and Volkswagen group in Europe and Asia.
In 2010 he becomes Chief Designer of Puritalia Automobili, a new Italian automotive company that produces Limited Edition Sports cars.
In 2011 he penned the FAW Go concept, a sport Sedan presented at the Shanghai International Motor Show.
In the meantime, he works also in the Product Design field with brands such as Nikon, Haier, Nespresso, Ferrero, Ariston, L'Oreal and Beretta.
In 2013 he moved to NYC and started his new professional chapter by working with several clients in the city on different Product Design projects.
In 2014 becomes Design Director for ProtocolNY and thanks to this amazing experience, with his team he wins 3 International Design Awards in 2015 and 2016 with 3 different projects for Drones.
In 2017 launches DOSE - Design Open Source Experiment, an online community where all the creative-enthusiasts can be part of Virtual Design Team and create Transportation Design Projects from the first sketch to the real prototype.

Every single aspect of each project contributed to grow my passion for the Design world.
The achievements, the happiness and the failures as well are part of that equation that I study and I learn from. Every single day.
Form is crucial. Function is life. Style is the sparkle, the treble clef that will let you perfectly mix form and function; this is the way I approach this world.
Nature and Technology, new materials and respect of the past are my greatest inspirations.
But Design, most of the time is a change of perspective. A slightly different angle can give you sometimes the perfect view to approach a new project with a proper and new language.
Design is the universal language of ideas.
